Private Beach Access:
If you live or rent on beach front property, you may contact us directly to obtain the correct form required for authorization by South Walton Fire District. Written permission from the property owner is required for all beachfront bonfires and beach picnics. All private access bonfires and picnics will include a convenience fee $150-$175 for the added time and manpower on the attendants and reservation team. Please contact us with any questions.
Destin
The City of Destin does not allow beach bonfires on private or public beaches. You can choose an access below for your beach bonfire.

Spooky Lane Beach Access
$50 additional convenience fee to use this access.
Spooky Lane Beach Access is at the entrance to Seahaunts Condominiums where Spooky Lane meets the Gulf. From the intersection of Scenic 393 at Gulf Place and Scenic 30A, travel east about 1/4 mile then south on Spooky Lane. There is parking for bikes only. No Restrooms, Stairs access. Additional rates apply to use this access.

Santa Clara Regional Beach Access
$100 additional convenience fee to use this access.
Santa Clara access is ADA accessible, and has parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season. Located on Scenic 30A, 1/2 mile east of Scenic 395, turn south on Bramble Grove Place. Lots of locals stop here to eat lunch or use the restroom.

Wall Street Beach Access in Inlet Beach is at the end of South Wall Street. About 200 yards east of the intersection of Scenic 30A and Hwy 98, turn south on to South Wall Street then proceed two blocks to the dead end at the gulf. There is no parking but there is plenty of parking, along with restrooms and outdoor showers about 1/4 mile east at the Inlet Beach Access, which has some nice dunes and 3 dune walkovers.

Phillips Inlet Access is a simple beach access about 200 yards south of US 98 in Inlet Beach at the end of South Walton Lakeshore Drive. Properly permitted vehicles are allowed but there is little room (66 feet) so it is primarily used only for launching boats and drop off. It's about a 1/4 mile walk to the east to reach Lake Powell and Camp Helen State Park.
